About Great Kills Swim Club

Located at 27 Nahant St, Staten Island, NY 10308, Great Kills Swim Club operates as a swim serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 227-5480. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, greatkillsswimclub.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 53 reviews, which is a strong result for a swim in Staten Island and suggests consistent service.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Staten Island follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

An absolutely wonderful, private recreation area for members and their friends. There is a large swimming pool with a slide for children, as well as trampolines and various playgrounds within the fenced area. It is all very safe.

This is our first full year here as a member. My wife has also had a great experience working as an employee. This is a tremendous and beautiful area in the neighborhood. It’s a wonderful community of people who share common interests in great friendships. The swim club is always clean and the staff is very professional, I highly recommend this establishment will work to become a member so you can learn to be a better part of our community and support establishments.

I practically grew up here. They don't make pool clubs like this anymore. Wonderful property, huge pool and great diving boards. The crowd has definitely changed as the Island has generally gone downhill but this place still has a few good years left, I hope.
